Last night DC and I saw Urban Bush Women perform at Dance Theater Workshop.
I have been a fan of the DTW space for a long time, small and intimate with no "stage" so the audience is very up close with the performers. We visited with EM-O and Steve and Michelle C. The performance didn't wow me but it was overall smart and sassy and empowering. Personally I can't wait to see Urban Bush Men !
